Companies that plan to stay in business must charge enough for their products and services to cover their cost, plus a fair profit margin. Therefore, price should not be the only consideration, and quality ranks highest on the list.
The warranty is a very important factor for evaluating bids also. In addition to any manufacturers’ warranties on specific components, look for a company willing to cover your entire system for 10 years not just 2 or 5 years. And don’t be confused when companies offer you a 25 year power warranty (this is different). In Arizona this is standard.
